Pineapple Upside Down Doughnuts

  1. Preheat oven to 350F, Spray doughnut pan with non stick spray
  2. In a medium bowl,whish together egg,brown sugar, milk,pineapple juice,sour cream, melted butter and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently add in self rising flour until combined.
  4. In each well of doughnut pan sprinkle about 1 tablespoons of brown sugar and lay half a pineapple slice (sliced in half lengthwise)
  5. Carefully spoon batter over the pineapple rings and spread evenly
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Set asside to cool of wire rack.
  7. Turn pan updaide down to flip doughnuts out
  8. Garnish each with a cherry in the middle, serve and enjoy.
